Shuke and Beita are the two protagonists in the "Adventures of Shuke and Beita," a 1989 animation adapted from a novel by Zheng Yuanjie, who is known as King of Fairy Tales in China.

Unlike other mice, Shuke and Beita aren't interested in stealing food. Instead, Shuke became a pilot and Beita became a tank driver. The pair met accidentally and became good friends. They then befriended a boy named Pipilu and with his help, co-founded an airline named Shuke Beita Airlines to help other animals.
